Founded in southern Maine in 2019 by Artistic Director Rose Hutchins, Ballet Bloom Project is a project-based contemporary ballet company that ​builds upon ballet's classical traditions, applying contemporary aesthetics and values to advance the art form's possibilities, relevance, inclusivity, and accessibility.

The company regularly presents performance and education programs, with a focus on making ballet a welcoming and engaging art form. Ballet Bloom Project seeks opportunities to collaborate with other artists and organizations to build up and strengthen the arts community in New England and beyond.
