Fall Pop-Class Series
This pay-what-you can pop-up series featuring ballet, contemporary ballet, and contemporary modern dance, built community while offering increased access to dance training.
Pre-Professional Training + Performance Program

Pre-professional students spent the summer training, rehearsing, and performing alongside the professional cast in ESSENCE, a mixed-bill concert. Student dancers had the opportunity to understudy and perform roles in excerpts from Hutchins's The Fairy Queen and The Little Mermaid.
During company classes, students had the opportunity to train in multiple modalities including ballet, contemporary modern, and dance conditioning with Artistic Director Rose Hutchins and guest instructors Kelsie Steil, Hannah Haines, and Elly Lovin. |

Maine MILL's Movement at the Museum
Representing Ballet Bloom Project, local dance artist Hannah Haines led a joyful Creative Movement for Maine MILL's Movement at the Museum series! This free all-ages, all-levels class invited participants to explore rhythm, expression, and imagination through movement in a welcoming and playful environment.
Contemporary Ballet 6-Week Series
Growing out of an academic study led by Artistic Director Rose Hutchins, this class series bridged the gap between traditionally compartmentalized ballet and contemporary training and the demands of current ballet choreography. These classes help dancers to dancers to develop increased versatility, embodiment, and artistic growth.
Spring Ballet Workshop

BLOOM Artistic Director Rose Hutchins and guest master teacher Cristian Laverde König teamed up again for another workshop, this time introducing a young dancer's program (9–12) in addition to the teen/adult program. This three-day workshop included Ballet Technique and Dance Conditioning lessons for both programs as well as Pointe and Turns & Jumps classes for the teen/adult program.

February Ballet Workshop

Guest master teacher and former principal dancer Cristian Laverde König and BLOOM Artistic Director Rose Hutchins partnered on this two-day workshop focused on embodied, functional movement to promote technical precision, artistic expression, and career longevity.
